“Alzheimer’s vs. Dementia: What’s the Difference?”

 Many people use the terms Alzheimer’s disease and dementia interchangeably, but they’re not the same thing. Dementia is a general term used to describe a decline in cognitive function that interferes with daily life, such as memory loss and thinking problems. Alzheimer's disease, on the other hand, is the most common type of dementia — and it's a specific medical condition with distinct symptoms and progression. Understanding the difference is crucial for early diagnosis, treatment options, and care planning.
