Ford Recalls Over 850,000 Vehicles—Fuel-Pump Fault Could Cause Engine Stalls

 Ford is issuing a massive recall covering more than 850,000 U.S. vehicles—from Broncos and Explorers to F‑Series pickups, Mustangs, Expeditions, and Lincoln SUVs—due to a defect in the low-pressure fuel pump. If it fails, your engine could suddenly stall, especially in hot weather or on low fuel, creating a serious crash risk. Owners will start receiving notification letters July 14, and repairs—once the fix is ready—will be free at Ford dealerships  . 641-0While no accidents have yet been tied to the issue, approximately 10% of vehicles may be affected, and Ford will monitor and resolve the problem as quickly as possible
