Actor Neal McDonough, known for his roles in Band of Brothers, Yellowstone, and Desperate Housewives, recently revealed that his steadfast refusal to perform on-screen kisses with anyone other than his wife led to significant professional and personal challenges. In a candid interview on the "Nothing Left Unsaid" podcast, McDonough shared that this personal boundary, rooted in his Catholic faith and commitment to his marriage, resulted in being blacklisted by Hollywood. He recalled being fired from the ABC series Scoundrels in 2010 after declining to participate in intimate scenes, an experience that led to a two-year hiatus from acting and a period of self-doubt and emotional turmoil. Despite these setbacks, McDonough emphasized that his decision was guided by his values and love for his family, stating, "These lips are meant for one woman."
